The rails
Two Channels, Two Very Different Positions Afterwards
Both move money. Only one of them is instant in both directions, and neither reverses a completed payment on request.
A completed UPI or bank transfer is not undone because you changed your mind. Disputes go to the receiving party, which here is not identified.
What the operator names
For withdrawals, two channels: bank transfer and UPI. Both are stated plainly, alongside a minimum of ₹25, a maximum of ₹2,00,000 and a description of withdrawals as instant and available around the clock — the published terms in full.
For deposits the operator names nothing at all, so what is accepted on the way in has to be discovered rather than read — the whole of what is published about depositing is two percentages with ceilings.
How the two behave
- UPI
Immediate and finalSettlement is near-instant in both directions and the transfer completes without an intermediary holding it. Speed is the feature and it is also the limitation.
- Bank
Slower, more traceableA transfer leaves a fuller record and takes longer, which occasionally means a payment can be stopped before it settles. Occasionally, not reliably.
- Both
No consumer chargebackNeither offers what a card scheme offers. A completed payment is not reversed because the payer regrets it or because goods were not delivered.
- Both
A dispute goes to the recipientWhich requires knowing who the recipient is, and here no company registration, jurisdiction or licence appears.
What actually happens when something goes wrong
Money leaves, and the balance does not appear. Or a withdrawal is requested and does not arrive. In both cases the bank or the payment app can tell you whether the transfer completed, and that is the limit of what they can do.
Everything after that is between you and the operator — the sequence worth following is short and ends quickly, because there is no published support contact and no stated complaints procedure.
The control that does work
Most Indian banks and payment apps offer a gambling-category block, applied from your side and effective regardless of what any product provides. It is the one payment control that does not depend on the operator, and it works before a dispute rather than after one.
Setting it is a decision about the category rather than about this product, which is the right level for it — what a payment instrument reveals about you once it is linked is a related question. The overview explains the sourcing rule.
Frequently asked
Can a UPI payment be reversed?
Not on request. Settlement is near-instant and final, and neither UPI nor a bank transfer offers the chargeback rights a card scheme provides.
Who do I dispute a payment with?
The receiving party, which here is not identified: no company registration, jurisdiction or licence number appears on the operator's pages.
Is there a payment control that works?
Yes. Many Indian banks and payment apps offer a gambling-category block applied from your side, which works regardless of what any product provides.
